Do you know at least one person who has experienced a job loss or precarious work, disruption from a
climate disaster or pandemic or conflict, skyrocketing economic inequality, inflation and lack of
affordability for basic needs, or rising food insecurity?

The Canadian social safety net is no longer sufficient to meet the needs of many. How can people find
help that preserves their dignity and provides adequate support for themselves and their families?
Many have called for a guaranteed Basic Income. This solution ensures better health outcomes,
adequate housing, nutrition, increased educational attainment and child development, and positive
psychological well-being.

How does Basic Income reimagine a new way forward? At this event you’ll learn:
- What is, and isn’t, Basic Income?
- Why is it important?
- How do we move forward?

The panel members bring a broad range of knowledge and expertise, encompassing various
aspects of Basic Income.

- This event is in person and streamed live at www.youtube.com/@WilmotUnitedChurch.
- The panel session will last 60 - 75 minutes.
- Following the discussion, attendees are invited to join in light refreshments and continue
   discussions with panelists and others.

Registration recommended at HERE . A recording of the event will be available on BasicIncomeNB.ca
